I'd be looking at a Mazda CX5, the new styling is great and it gets a good review.

While it lacks the premium badge, the Peugeot 3008 does look good in person and has been reviewed well.

Maybe he likes them.

Another question might be what do you need from a car?

I want an upright driving position because I have some back and pelvis issues that aren't going to go away, and , yes, I just like them smile

I do like the look of the Mazda, but I ruled out the 2008, I don't think I could feel relaxed behind the wheel, the cabin is a bit busy?

Take a look at the Ford Edge I've sourced three recently for customers & have to say they're a smart car, I will say if your budget allows get the Vignale it's a proper step up in feel inside the cabin from the Titanium which isn't a bad place to sit either, it's not Audi quality inside but they're good plus the customer service package that comes with these is a nice addition.

Ford are supposed to be some nice deals on their Demo fleet in September.

Only if you tell us why you drive an inefficient fast Focus when a 1.6 would do the job just fine.

I suspect the answers might end up being the same..

Lol I take it you haven't been keeping up with prices lately take a look at the spec, then take a look at it's competitors & you'll see they're already good value wink

Another vote for the 3008 SUV, love my 2ltr Blue HDI GT Line, very comfy, handles well for its size, absorbs all the bumps in the road and is fully loaded (though the GT has a better spec for not much more money).
Well worth a test drive, i cockpit is great and the piano keys are a great short cut between switching between modules and not having to look at the screen and pick what you need.

Test drive one, you won't regret one wink (hence it won car of the year and its top of its class smile )
