To those who have removed the whole dashboard, top and bottom.
I have a ribbed plastic hose going into the box behind the vents in front of the gearstick, from the driver's footwell and want to put a bigger fixed pipe in it so it can handle more air for my ac - as it only takes 'fresh' air from the aux fan in the driver's footwell.
Do you know if this air box is sealed? ie, if I can push a larger plastic pipe into it (after drilling a larger hole) will all I need to do is seal the pipe in the hole? Or is it open to the dash above it?
