OK....... Now I'm Confused

I did a search on 'sumps' yesterday as I need to get one for an AS engine. I found that almost everyone has a 7" deep pan, even found a part number for a Canton (#15-240) I also need a pick up pipe, looks like there are around four for this sump so I emailed Gail at AS for advice. This morning I received a reply from Gail with a part number for the sump (#15-250) which is a 7.5" deep pan and a part number for the pick up pipe (#20-010)which in the Canton website matches the 7.5" pan.
So which pan do I get? At almost £300 I don't want to get it wrong!

Hi Graham,

When I was spec'ing my engine from Fastco this came up too.

I too spoke to Gail and he provided details of the 7.5" deep sump.

The part number I have for the sump is also #15-250.

Spoke to the factory and was told that the chassis has been altered to accept the 7.5" sump.
So ordered it.
