hello,
I'm having similar issues with my A3 2008 model 2L TDI S line....
ive forked out over 3k fixing this car that i brought with promises of it being reliable and a smooth runner.
recently payed £500 for them to fix various parts. and now have had it back for approx a week done over 50+ miles
and now i have the emission control system light on and a lot of white smoke coming from the exhaust.
opened engine bay to check oil levels after leaving the car for a good 20 minutes and oil levels were fine coolant was good.
how ever engine was piping hot.
i got told from the mechanic that the car would naturally go into regeneration mode. now i fear its stuck in regen mode as the light isn't shifting and the white smoke still appears from exhaust.
if anyone can help i would be very grateful for information...
