4k 49'' tv recommendations mainly netflix & xbox one x
Discussion
If you've ordered an Xbox One X then I presume you're going to want to take advantage of the 4K HDR? If so you want to be looking at a TV with a 10bit panel (all to do with colour depth). Unfortunately £1k isn't enough.
Closest you can get is this https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/46-54-t...
For £1500 there is this https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/46-54-t...
Anything that is certified 4K Ultra HD Premium has a 10 bit panel as far as im aware (correct me if im wrong)

Bugger so need to spend more to get the best out of it if it's a 10 bit pannel thats needed.
How about this? https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/4k-ultr...
Seems to get good reviews and I would be willing to wait for price to drop a bit.

I believe a premium TV has to accept/process/display a 10bit picture but doesn't HAVE to be a 10 bit panel, 8bit + dithering is OK, not sure you'd notice while watching video, but maybe it would make a difference in gaming. The TV's you mention are quantum dot (triluminous in Sony speak, SUHD or QLED for Samsung), this is crucial in giving the better contrast performance and colour gamut for HDR. Well worth reading up on.Thought this review might interest you, the 65inch one is £1,100 I believe (NOT quantum dot TV!)

It's all a balancing act, and I don't know what your situation is, but I thought an OK 65 inch TV might work out better for you than a good (but still not really great) 49 inch. Always good to know your options! Let us know how you get on.
Due to size restrictions a 49 or 50'' is the biggest that will fit in the room and can't justify spending too much for a second tv but at the same time as it's primarily going to be MY tv I want it to be decent. I bought a Panasonic TX-50DX802B 50 Series LED beginning of the year. Lovely screen, excellent picture quality and THX Certified. I have been using it with my PS4 Pro for games and Netflix 4K. Also have an Xbox One X on order too.
Panasonic where the only company that did interest free option so was a no brainer.

That panasonic looks nice but can't seem to find it any where.
Went and looked at the
Sony 49xe9005 and samsung 49q7f today and side by side the samsung looks better withthe same source.
The samsung was clearer and a lot less stuttery with fast mooving pictures.
To give an idea there was a tank shell fired and you could see a two shells at one point on the sony.
Just got to wait for prices to get to a sensible point now.
