Hey mods, can someone tell me why I've been banned from the GOT thread?

Sorry for the hijack but rather than make another thread with the same thread title I'll post this here.
So apparently I spoiled something in this thread last night , don't remember what time it was but I'm an hour in front of UK time. It was a genuine mistake, I've been banned from that thread, fine I'm not really that bothered. What p*sses me off though is getting called a c*nt and receiving an email from a moderator (read keyboard warrior) with no name attached like this...

Nice. I got told to Grow Up once. Keyboard warriorism at its best, especially when hiding behind anonymity.
