I know the 991 Turbo was facelifted and upgraded last year but does anyone know of any other changes or models coming over and above the Exclusive model? Do you think that will spawn a power pack for the regular S or do you think that's it now until the 992 appears in 2019?

I doubt it. Asked for the exclusive power pack on new 991.2 turbo S for Dec/Jan delivery and was given a flat no on basis the exclusive turbo wouldn't be exclusive anymore wink

Kind of makes sense but there is more to that car than the power however.

Agree with the above, would be silly of them to produce the Exclusive for them to then option a power pack.. mind you, Porsche being Porsche you never know!!

I can't see it but if they do make a few changes I'd be delighted. Ours is probably one of the last UK 991 turbo S to be delivered - I hear 992 will be available next year Q1 o Q2. Optioning the 991 with exclusive options wasn't easy at all. I asked for GT3 wheels (they fit) and was given a polite no and I quite like a few of the carbon bits on the exclusive turbo too particularly the rear intake box which I also wanted in CF but it was "no" to virtually everything.

Playing the game with Porsche but can see the allure of a Macca or a Fezza. Think Im heading for a mid life crisis smile

If anyone else has hears about any changes to 991.2 turbo S I'd love to hear about them too but I think this exclusive model is basically what the runout turbo S model used to be so all the changes reserved for that and rightly so at approaching £200,000. In fact with carbon wheels its #200k on the nose.

That might be because the car was Type Approved with specific options and GT3s aren't one of them.

Could you order GT3 wheels separately and have the dealer swap the tyres from the Turbo rims to the GT3s as part of the PDI (but after the car has been registered) so the original wheels could be sold as new?

Surely we won't see a 992 until 2019?

There's a couple of 991.2's in the States with GT3 wheels on Turbo S so can be done. Can imagine with even stickier tyres the Turbo S would be a monster!!!

I'm planning on doing exactly this .. putting GT3 wheels on the 991.2 Turbo S ... Front RO is 51TS and 55 for GT3 so close but rear is 56TS and 47 GT3. Also rear GT3 is J12 where as TS is 'only' 11.5
Can anybody confirm that it has been done ?? and what do I do about the rears ? Thanks
There is a gen 2 turboS for sale at redline with GT3 wheels.
