From the very little I know about Heroin, it's highly unlikely to help with your carnival vibe as you lie on the floor of your empty flat unable to move and off your tits. Ridiculous trying to link the two things.
Yep - I thought it was all cannabis, E, mandy & perhaps coke that were the carnival drugs of choice..........cbmotorsport said:
Yes of course. But it's unfair and unjust publicity for the Carnival which attracts nearly 2 million happy, friendly people intent on having a good time. The small minority that cause grief/deal drugs/are violent don't represent the masses.
Lat year 43 cops injured and taken to hospital, 450 total arrests, 90 of them for possession of knives/blades, 169 for drugs, 40 for public order offences, 25 for assaulting police officers. Four separate knife attacks on the Sunday alone.Sounds like a lovely facility friendly event!

No but 400 crimes and 8 police officers seriously hospitalised and many more needing treatment is not acceptable, the level of crime makes it a nightmare for the met and would the left not cry racist the met would of put a stop to it after last years crime and voilenceIn sleepy somerset we have loads of carnivals including bridgwater which is 7 miles long and streamed around the world and we don't have drug problems and hundreds of people with knifes coming to see it!

I agree, it's a nightmare to police, and it has it's problems. My point was that the vast majority of people are there for the right reasons. The carnival doesn't need the bad press.
0.02% of the visitors were arrested last year.I suspect you get that sort of percentage at most large gatherings like music festivals football matches etc.
Gather 2,000,000 million people in a city centre like London and you're going to have some issues, should we just stop these things due to a tiny minority?

To be fair that because the majority of troublemakers are already off their heads on the cider...
