Ok so I guess that's a matter of taste .

Was pasm standard on all GTS models ?

Yes it was. Nice spec and not badly priced, especially with the Carbons.

PASM was standard, and the alternative - sports suspension - was a 'no cost' option.

taste aside (which maybe one day we will all realise is subjective), the other items from that list that were standard are:

20″ Carrera S wheels
Sports exhaust
Dynamic engine mounts (i think?)
Bi-Xenon plus dynamic cornering lights
Sport Chrono Package
Darkened tail lights

so suddenly that 'massive spec' isn't so massive after all, though there are some big ticket items.

i'm no expert, though i did buy my own GTS a few months ago and did a fair bit of research. my humble opinion is that the mileage is a bit high but only 1 owner is plus. i've never seen a CGTS with ceramic brakes priced that low - definitely have them checked out in case they're coming to EOL.

if it has the spec you want then ask all the questions you need to and see if you can get negotiate some money off. ultimately if it ticks all your boxes then you may have to just go for it.

one totally personal opinion is that i saw a similar car on here the other day but with black wheels and to my eye the darker wheels do really add to the sporty looks.

Has tremendous spec was my thoughts especially with the buckets and carbon interior pack.

There are others in the classifieds starting from £54k so just thinking about the price vs spec and mileage .

Tks Jason.

Appreciate the spec update. RPM I'm sure will provide full details of ceramic wear , they tell me they are a grand a corner to replace ?

Interior wise it's a nice place to sit and I can see has been meticulously looked after.

Maybe it's my "forever car"

No climate aircon, no heated seats, no parking sensors, no cruise (which some like), Bose is a bit rubbish, so not a great spec really since much of the rest is standard GTS. Odd comment on "40%" LSD - I'm not sure the Porsche one is - so worth a check. Buckets are very much a matter of taste - perhaps not ideal on daily transport.

I'd be very surprised at a grand a corner, Id expect double that with pads.

Bought my 911 for RPM, wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy from them again.

They're not even close. It's £4000 for each front disc, and £3000 for each rear. Pads are £300 a set. This info was from AndyCGTS who has PCCBs on his CGTS. Wear is probably not an issue on the disks, damage would be the worry for me.

Spec-wise a lot of it is standard, including the dynamic engine mounts which you get with Sports Chrono. It mentions a diff which could indicate it has PTV? Worth checking.

It's highly specced barring heated seats and parking sensors. You need to consider the consider the cost of PCCB replacement in the future should damage occur and the high seating position in the cabin of the folding bucket seats.

Edit: looking at the pics it has cruise and I think climate too, plus Zunsport grilles. It's also got X73 suspension not PASM. I'd say it's about on the money for a non-OPC.

Thanks all for the replys .

The ceramics concern me in terms of replacement costs for sure . Forgetting damage for a second , how long should they last including say 5 track dats a year ?

100,000m plus in theory. You need to change pads when they're 50% worn and watch out for chips, scrapes and stones caught in the calipers. Careful when changing tyres too, there are special rods to be used so the wheels don't drop onto the discs.

Sounds like thafs a specialist job and not worth risking it with a local garage !

I had a gt3 with ceramics but didn't have the car long enough to change pads so wasn't a consideration .

Maybe if I'm looking for a car to track occasionally I'll be better off with standard brakes ?

Red one at OPC Newcastke and 9k miles at 54k smarter buy?

Tks all and sorry for all the questions :-)

The extended studs to guard against dropping a wheel on a disc are not standard - not expensive though - if I recall correctly about £15. A must with ceramics IMO in case you get a puncture and you end up getting an emergency repair done by a tyre shop not familiar with PCCB's.

Good info Tks .

Just remembered I had a puncture in a gt3 with pccb and got a home repair after being low loaded off the road!

The Racing Yellow car will be more desirable to more individuals as and when you come to sell. Whilst it's not full on Unicorn spec, the PCCB's, bucket seats and Bi Xenons would be high up on a lot of buyers want/need lists as fun/weekend car as opposed to a daily driver.

The PCCB's are probably over specced for a GTS, it's not overly heavy, nor massively powerful, add in it's superb chassis balance and the system shouldn't be overworked, but that will depend on your skill behind the wheel and also your braking technique.

If you're concerned about the PCCB's durability on track, there are aftermarket steel disc conversions that utilise the existing calipers (Girodisc) and come sale time you can put the immaculate PCCB's back on the car. Have a chat with Ollie @ RPM and see what his thoughts are and whether they'd fit them in the purchase price of the car, if you supply them.

If for road use only, the PCCB's will be absolutely fine (with the added bonus of no brake dust !) in fact you could throw pretty much anything at them on the road and they'll take it in their stride.

Bi-Xenon (PDLS) is standard on the GTS. PCCBs can be a plus or a minus I think, they'd be a minus for me but I can see how others would want them.
Buckets look good but be wary of the seating position and if they fit your body shape. They're an older design too which also put me off them.

As with all spec, decide what's essential for you and what you're prepared to compromise on!
