Emissions fail help

Hello Guys,

If anyone has anything to add please do I need advice

Passat failed the mot today on emissions test everything passed except the lambda reading which come in at 1.532

What could be causing this

The garage want to clean the throttle body tomorrow but I cannot see it being that and friends have said the same

I can only think of lambda sensor precat

Any advice will help
