Does anyone know if the standard RHD headlight pattern on a McLaren 12C is road legal when driving in Europe? There does not appear to be an easy way to switch the beam direction.

If not, is it possible to use the usual headlight stickers to fix this (I've looked at some generic sticker kits but there is does not appear to be any instructions for McLaren cars)?

Thanks very much.

None of the stick on tack gives info for mclarens so you cant use those
ive done serious miles over there without an issue though and as it happens leave in the morning to drive across for the Spa F1.
just drive and dont worry.

I don't think they need converting? Many new cars with projector xenon-type lights have beams which don't need adjusting? My 570s have a very 'straight' beam for example and didn't need adjusting.

I was told by McLaren that the height and design of the headlights mean they do not dazzle so no adjustment is required. Have driven thousands of miles in Europe with no flashing! However the French like to fine Brits abroad so I would take some stickers to show if you get stopped but no good fitting as they wont do any good. Take a headlight bulb too, they will fine you for anything. We now avoid France if we can and turn left off the shuttle and go to Belgium and through Germany to the Alps. We were stopped and searched 3 times in one day in France a few years ago. Never had an issue anywhere else so France gets Bypassed.....

Bought an RAC Euro premium travel kit last month and it had some headlight-conversion stickers in it. They take about 10mins to fit to a supercar... They unstuck and flew off within 100 miles of getting off the ferry and we spent the next 7 countries and 2900 miles with unconverted RHD headlights. Nobody flashed, day or night, and a routine police stop in Austria and in Monaco did not say anything, either. Lights should be fine, as they are.

I never bother with any of this with a 911. Many recent cars have a pretty flat beam and there's no need to make adjustments.
