Hire car, any recommendations?

You might have to get out to the airport to get one.

There are electric cars that you just pay with a card and get in and drive. I imagine they are just for the city though.

I think that Google will be your friend. There are 3 companies nearby to the station so price and availability are the only motivators.

If you are staying in the city, you probably don't need a car.

I'd recommend you deal directly with a hire company and not a third party. From family experience...
