Can anyone tell me where I can get a new side pin from for the wiper.

I don't mind buying a wiper to get one but I cannot find anyone that sells them on their own or with a wiper. Mine finally snapped after 30 years!

Thanks

Grady

Any while we talking about wipers, what does the rubber boot come from?

TVR-Parts sells the arms. Don't know if the side pin is in there or not

Is that the small pin you used to get in wiper kits that made the blade side fitting. If it is, I might have some in the garage. I never used to throw all the spare bits away.
I can have a look tomorrow if it is that pin.

ETA
The picture.
Is it like the one top row in the centre?

Yep that's the one. If you you can find one, or even two, I will take them off your hands. Always good to have a spare! Drop me an email with details etc and I will sort out beer tokens! Thanks, Andy

Had a quick look in the garage and found this one. I know I have more but I will have to dig deeper. If this is the one you are welcome to have it and any more I can find. It is approx 30mm long & 3-4 MM. diameter.

Picture is upside down due to Apple.

I have a feeling I lost one and just stuck an M5 bolt in there instead, been on there for years now.

On the subject of wipers.....
As with all things on older cars, my wipers have two speeds.....dead slow and dead slower.
Anyone looked into a faster motor upgrade ?
What's the access like ?

Etc etc.....discuss ?

Andy, can you pm me please. I think that pin will do the job. Dimensions are pretty much the same but the original looks a bit different. I guess a side pin connector should fit anything with a side pin fitting! Thanks again
