Cold War era flight helmet and oxygen mask, help!
Discussion
Just throwing a line out here to see if anyone can help as I have tried most of the usual suspects.
I'm looking to borrow a Cold War era flying helmet and oxygen mask for the day for a photoshoot. The photos would involve it being worn but it would be static. The helmet would need to be largeish. It would be on a day early next month and I would be able to pick it up. However, bearing that in mind it needs to be in the Surrey/West Sussex area and I should be able to return it the same day/following morning.
I'm sure that if anyone has one it will be a treasured possession and you could be sure it would be treated as such.
Of course a drink of some sort would be involved in gratitude.
Thanks in advance.

Basically just needs to be a flight helmet with an oxygen mask and a black slide down visor from the cold war period.
Must be Nato ie not Russian.
Must be solid helmet not a leather type.
Would prefer it not to be a helicopter type.
Would like it to be either white or grey but not green.
Hopefully that'll cut down on the options!

Two seconds on eBay turned up everything you're asking for.
BTW I meant that to be helpful, not sarky! (Having wasted far too much time searching for props before the internet came along.)
Indeed. Some of the ones in America are incredibly well priced. However the budget for this shoot is er........... limited to say the least. Which is why I'm looking to borrow BTW I meant that to be helpful, not sarky! (Having wasted far too much time searching for props before the internet came along.)
