Brake squeal gone!

But for how long?...

Just Went out this morning and copper slipped the backs of my brake pads,
What a differance! Not even a slight squeak now.

I picked the worst possible day to do it though, as it was bd freezing outside and even starting to snow!

I'm off for a good test spin now.
I'll have probably wore off all of the copper slip by time I get back

I tried copper slip, grinding an angle on the leading edge of the pads etc...but it didn't last for long. Mine have now stopped a few thousand miles on, without doing anything else. Perhaps they've now got 'bedded in' more. Brake dust or whatever.
