Spurred on by seeing a sign saying PG tips is the nations favourite tea (council.) I've wondered what the powerfully built director types drink when they aren't on the redbull or espresso.

I can't stand tetley, typhoo or PG tips. Yorkshire Gold is the single best everyday tea I can think of, what's yours?

What's the perfect way to make a cuppa

Mine is - fresh water, glass kettle, white china mug, Yorkshire gold, cold semi skimmed milk brewed with a clean tea spoon every time

Not an answer as such but you might enjoy it given your own particular tastes in tea. I'm not even sure what tea we have in my house... I don't really like tea at all, odd as that may be.

Yorkshire or Twinnings Everyday in our house.

Oddly I've gone from constantly having a cuppa by my side to hardly drinking any team or coffee following a bug
of some description that had me laid up in bed for 2 and a bit days earlier this year.

Yorkshire tea for me, there was a taste testing program on TV, they marked it down, couldnt work that out. One teabag in a teapot and left for 5 minutes makes two strong mugs of tea. Leave the tea to go cold and any left in the pot is used to water house plants, they thrive on it.

Bettys tea room tea is also really good, loads of flavour without being strong.

I have noticed that my tea in London doesnt need any brewing time, the tea goes black as soon as the water hits it, tea made with the soft water in Yorkshire needs a few minutes.

Waitrose Darjeeling loose leaf.
Teabags are a poor substitute.

Yorkshire tea for me and Yorkshire decaf for the pregnant mrs.

Twinnings breakfast is a decent runner up though.

Don't get the love for Yorkshire Tea. It tastes acidic and harsh.

Tetley. All day long.
