Hi guys

Looking to replace my ignition leads shortly on my 5 litre Griffith powered 400se and just wondered what you would recommend from experience

Cheers

Plug extenders are about £100 a set, plus £30 for a set of standard leads, so going ceramic for £130 is not so daft.

I ran socks at £12 a set, instead of extenders, on standard leads on my Chim 500 until an engine rebuild last year, without any issues. Just make sure you get high temp ones if you go thus route. I had six extenders out of a new set of 8 fail in six months, hence the change.

My TVR guy, whom I totally trust, installed ceramics during the rebuild as he felt it is the way to go, and I didn't argue. So far they have been perfect.

Hi guys

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm going to try the leads from formula power/seem very well priced and look like they will be the business.

Cheers
