Looking at something new for the next few years, but with the mileage I do i'm thinking electric might be a possible now days.

Has anyone got an estate hybrid option as well?

Thanks, the Passat GTE looks like it would be about high end A4 pricing.

Wonder if it'll be better TCO?

It depends on your types of journey you predominately do, long runs & the diesel is still the better car but lots of short journeys plus under 12k per year & it goes back in favour of the Petrol/Hybrid.

I am around 12-15k per year, but majority are 20mile round trips.

EV install costs need to be factored in, and i'm also sure servicing will be higher?

How often do you do 80-120 mile trips, you need this type of journey regularly to clear the DPF.
