Banned Numberplates

Well, compadres, pardon my higgerance (or is it innocence) but what's offensive about 67 on a reg plate?

I looked at Urban Dictionary and it had a tangential reference with the gist, 'one favour deserves another'.

I know Tarbiy has COM1C and they binned PEN15 yonks ago. But 67? I simply don't get it, Matron.

It was in the papers/on the Web... without explanation or examples save for things like 67 5HT and 67 NOB.
Like many, I haven't a clucking fue?
