I have, twicefurious

I bought a tin of. 22cal pellets for my PCP rifle. Copper plated already, shame they were a random fit in the barrel. I could either have bang on as sighted or a pot luck trajectory. As the club 'PR' man said, as he so often has, 'You couldn't hit a cow's arse wi' a banjo. '

Just to rub the salt in, Ive been using some low-tack blue masking tape from an eBay seller. I've never seen the like before. Tape that rolls down off the wall under its own weight? Low tack =no tack. The trick is to use the first skin of paint to hold it on. No use to man or beast.

What did these have in common? A proud bias, 'Cheapest on eBay.'

There's a reason. You have been warned.

Meh, I love buying cheap st on eBay.

One week I bought a replacement motor for something and a filter sock for my reef aquarium. The £1 motor which turned up was about 1/10th the size it should have been, it was about 5mm long. Of course the £3 filter sock turned up and it's about 10x larger than I ordered. Could have used it as a nose warmer for a horse.

A shopping experience you just don't get elsewhere smile

Man buying cheap shyte on ebay, surprised when cheap shyte turns up.....

Its quite exciting waiting for ebay purchases though, especially ones with a 4 week lead time from China. Sometimes you get some right bargins, £6 for a copy Honda carburetor - cant go wrong.

I can't understand how the Chinese make a profit selling stuff for a few £ and giving free postage. OK it might take two weeks to arrive and the plastic will be shoite, brittle and guaranteed to break after little use but it's a lot of effort for no money.

The thing about air gun pellets is one brand or model might be fine in one gun but useless in another, you just have to experiment till you find ones that you are happy with and stick to them.

On the other hand, you may just be a st marksman....biggrin

Extremely low tack tape is perfect for use in signwriting.
I get through rolls and rolls of the stuff.

Message them to say you no longer want the product and want to return it for a refund and you can generally get 50% off to keep it as they can't be doing with the hassle of returning. Their margins must be quite impressive.
I inadvertently bought a knock off (or 'High quality copy') new Nokia for £18. They offered me up to 60% off before relenting and taking the piece of crap back. Same with some £12 curtains that I mis-measured for a spare room. They offered me a £4 refund to keep them, so I tested the water with £7 or £8 and they accepted straight away. Sold the curtains on for a little less than I paid for them. Result.
