Clutch question..
Discussion
I've had my Griff now for just a couple of weeks..
Was stored, and only covered 350 miles in the last 6 months. (and since the last service)
I have now driven approx 600 miles since buying.. the clutch pedal has now becomes lighter and appears to have more initial travel before engaging the clutch, now stuggling to get gears.. doesn't feel like the clutch or gearbox, but more like the linkage adjustment of air in the system ??? Ideas please on what & where to check..
Much appreciated..
Cheers

Well, upon further inspection, the rubbers have gone on the clutch master cylinder... no fluid what so ever... that'll explain it..
So looks like I'll be buying a rubber kit..
Does anyone know what kit I need to by ?? local motorfactors don't have it listed..
Any other advise will be well received..

I think ts a lucus SP2102, ask Joolz at Joospeed, he sent me mine and it was about 8 quid. reasonably easy to do and Cheaper than buying a new master cylinder at 60 quid.
Depends....
Last one I bought was around £45.
New rubbers don't do anything if the bore is scored...
I bought a new one and a rubber refurb kit so I could refurb the cylinder in the Winter months when there is nothing to do and then have a spare. That was two years ago though.
