What are the typical Carrera S 991.2 issues?

What are typical issues or defects owners of new 991.2 could expect? Are any of them possible to pre-empt before buying?

Not everyone is enamoured with the engine.

After 50+ years of charismatic, normally aspirated, flat-sixes in the 911, the turbo hasn't exactly won critical acclaim.

No issues or defects - nor are the engines a problem, just different. Just been out in mine on some cracking local B roads and was reminded that it's a seriously quick road car.

Completely agree with Koln-RS : massive shame emission targets have pushed Porsche down a compromised engine route - I'm sure no one was more upset than them when they had to ditch the NA flat 6 - really sad IMHO

No problems so far. Wonderfly enjoyable engine, exciting at the top end of 2nd/3rd yet easy to press on in normal driving conditions using the lower down torque. Sounds great. I was concerned with regard to the new turbo engines but after driving back to back with the 991.1 had no difficulty in going for the new car.
I'm hoping to add a classic 911 to the garage at some point to compliment it and enjoy a different 911 experience (far more than just the engine characteristics).
