102mm-ish crank set

I recently got my lad a islabike cnoc16 and I am in the process of servicing/upgrading it a little.
The bearings in the bottom bracket have completely disintegrated so a new one piece sealed unit has been ordered but I wouldn't mind upgrading the crankset to something a little less naff looking a something a little straighter (I may have bent it a bit removing it).
There seems to be zero options out there as far as I can find. I'm looking at getting a crankset cut down to as close to the 102mm as possible, has anyone done this before?
I can straighten out the existing chain wheel, it's not that bad but new and shiny is always better!
