Cool. good stuff guys. I'll have a look on overclockers. Yes, I am little bit oldschool, and yes the TVs take up a lot of space as I went for 43" mahoosive. It should look good tho. VR next no doubt!
VR would have been cheaper than 3 TVs (unless you already had them obviously). If you get hooked on virtual driving/racing it's genuinely a game changer in immersion. There is PC build including a 1080Ti on overclockers forums for £1500, worth a look. You wouldn't need to do anything to that for 5 years+ when I bought my PC it was nowhere near that level of performance in relative terms, and I've had 5 solid years out of it. Granted I've upgraded the graphics for VR but otherwise it's still coping...for now.

Ryzen 5 1600 overclocked to 3.9Ghz (there are custom 8-Pack bundles on Overclockers UK with motherboards etc..)
16 Gb PC3200 RAM
1070 GPU
Leaves a few hundred for HDD, Case and other stuff if needed.
Will run all modern stuff very easily at 1080
Ryzen 1600 is definitely the go to cpu in the i5 price range. Much greater future proofing with its 12 v 4 threads.16 Gb PC3200 RAM
