Legends of the GWR.

Looking like a very good line up of some of the GWR/BR Western Region's legendary locos and units.

It is also an impressive turn out of Class 50s for their 50th as well wink

Dragged myself out of bed early this morning and got there just as it opened. Had a really cracking day out and really glad I made the effort to go.

We got there a little later, but had to join a massive queue. We got in about 11am. A very good line up though.

Got my mate to get a photo of me standing next to one of the Class 50s. It was the same one I stood in the cab of (and have a photo of me in it) when it was in BR service just over 30 years ago! I was 12 at the time smile

It was quite amusing to watch lots of grown men run for the ferris wheel as soon as the barriers were opened in order to get that shot smile
