Finding a Social Media/Facebook Ads Expert?

Posting on behalf of a friend who runs a promotion business for music bands.

Targetted Facebook ads and a whole social media strategy would be very useful to them in putting their gigs in front of the eyeballs of people in a certain area at a certain time. They are a small business, two employees and are looking for a person/agency to work with on this. But where do you start when it comes to looking for someone and someone who can deliver?

They use Facebook ads at the moment but it is a very un-strategic, scatter gun and sporadic approach.

I have suggested posting on our area's local Facebook group (small town in Surrey) to start with to see if there are any around here but any other pointers welcomed.

If location of the expert doesn't matter then... https://www.couchdigitalstrategies.com/

They post a lot of content on Facebook covering social media marketing and are very much targeting at smaller businesses with limited budgets. They do offer a retainer based service but the free content may well be enough if your friends are prepared to get a little bit involved.
