31 out of 34.

One was a misplaced finger before I even read the question. One was bks, question about piston pin bearing, I saw pin surface and clicked it. It was actually pin bush, but what does the pin bush run on, yep, the pin surface. Can't remember the other.

Number 4 also had two correct answers, the push rod and piston both go up and down in the cylinder block.

32/34 and I know nothing about engines and am about as mechanically minded as a wood pigeon. Odd quiz...

With the exception of the Americanisms, any PistonHead who can't get at least 32/34 should resign.
It contains so many questions with ridiculous, nonsense answers, that it's obvious the author was desperate to find as many as 34.
AND, they perpetutated the common Americanism that Welch plugs, aka core plugs are to protect the engine if the coolant freezes.

Complete waste of time.

I think it was posted up as a bit of fun.

32 here, having never worked on any Yank stuff I got No.18 main cap and the core plug/freeze plug one wrong.

34/34

I take it all the 34/34s get their names in a prize draw, and the lucky winner gets their 5 minutes of life back?
