Wheel arches surface corrosion on a Cayman...
Discussion
Hi
I wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to the best way to address this/make good please. I wasn't sure if this could be corrected by myself with wire brush and touch up pen, or if it would be a job for a detailer, smart repairer or needs a body shop?
Apart from these two spots on each front wheel arch the body and paintwork is in good condition.
Thanks for any advice.
Tim

I've fixed this on both of my porches . Put some hammerite rust remover on a kitchen towel and stick it to the rust. Keep topping it up for a few days so it stays wet. Then once all rust is gone wire wool to key up the surface. Then grey primer. Then get a pot of your paint colour from eBay and apply thin even brush strokes. Looks like-new .
