Who can still do it??

Lots of us won't come clean when one of our favourite vocalist solo or in a band can't hit the high notes anymore and their live shows are a far cry from their heyday but some have grown older but still have a great voice, Don Henley and Judie Tzuke are two that spring to mind that still have great voices.

Tom Jones. Saw him a few weeks ago, good as ever at 77 years of age.

Saw him in Bristol a few weeks ago, and he's still making those high notes sound easy.

Great artist, lucky enough to see him at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1983 and Going by the clips on youtube and Facebook he still delivers.

Others I've seen recently who are still of fine voice include Paul Carrick and Mike Rutherford.

Gary Brooker is starting to have the odd bit of trouble with the high notes, but he's never professed to being a singer, as he will tell you himself.

I saw Roger Daltrey around ten years ago, and was a bit disappointed - but perhaps I just caught him on a bad day.

Looking at those Ringo Starr All Starr Band videos on youtube, the lead singer of Mr Mister (RIchard Page). Not as old as the other examples in this thread but still holds those high notes from those minor hits from thirty five years ago.

Jake Burns and Stiff Little Fingers. Saw them at Beautiful Days a couple of weeks ago and they were easily the best band at the festival and easily as good as when I first saw them back in the early 80s. Their appearance at Beautiful Days was part of their 40th anniversary tour.

Robert Smith is another, slightly surprising one. Saw The Cure last year at Wembley and was amazed. He's improved since I last saw them (1990 ish) and easily performed for nearly 3 hours, even though it was almost the end of a massive tour.

I saw him in Abu Dhabi a couple of years back after the F1, and it was the best I'd seen him, fantastic show, although it was the 1st night of the Tour so he was fresh.

Jeff Lynn, Barry Gibb and Dolly Parton have all been at Glastonbury recently and each one blew me away with their effortless singing, absolutely superb

Dave Grohl shouldn't be able to sing as well as he can after 20 years of screaming down the mic either
