Still waiting for your Spider Wheels & Brakes?

Found out that when Neil Anderson left the factory, the waiting list for the Spoder wheel and brake upgrade seemed to have disappeared.

They are still doing the conversions, but don't know who to contact.

If you are still interested, call Mike Day in the spares department at the factory, as he is starting a new list. If you're quick, you could have them in time for Le Mans!

What does it hanlde like with such thin tyres?

Or is he the owner with a new venture?
Just curious, spoke to him the other week as he was looking for a new speedo for me, seems a great bloke.

I bought a set of 16inch Spiders this week. I now need to sort out the hubs. Antony has helped point me in the right direction (cheers mate) but if anyone else can help me out it'd be very much appreciated.

Also need tyres, I would like Goodyear GSD3's but I fear they don't do both ends in the correct sizes?

I picked my kit up from the factory 2 weeks ago and it is now fitted to my Griff.The brakes are fantastic.I have been waiting for it since Oct 03 !The kit took 2 days to fit and you need acess to a press to fit the new wheel bearings.
The front discs are quite heavy,I weighed some AP discs with alloy bells and they where nearly 3K lighter each. The kit comes with no instructions but as the hubs are off a ford sierra its not too difficult.You also need a 250lb/ft torquewrench.
I have taken some pictures of the new hubs which are standard hubs redrilled with new studs and a backing ring,if anyone is interested I can email them(hav'nt sussed out how to post pictures yet !).regards James.

Chris, I'd be interested in cost as well, my plan is to get a 500 and upgrade wheels etc. If you'd prefere to e-mail me thats fine

Neil did used to work at Peninsula and now he manages tvrcarparts.com. Richard Smith engineered new hubs and after a few sleepless nights working out the correct alignments/suspension came out with what i think looks the dogs doodahs. Scared the sh1t out of me first, not being used to the change in balance. Eddy at Dulford Automotive (next door) has just tweaked her even more and has not only tightened the back end up but also given her more GRUNT. Very nice tune up job, thanks Eddy if your tuned in. I promised Neil and Richard that i would not talk about costs as my Griff was being used as a test case. However if you speak to Neil now he may just reveal how much it would cost today. It really depends on how much work you have had done already to the front end suspension. What do you guy's think? Look ok?. zz
