Straightening Bent Bones
Discussion
Evening All,
Back in 2006 I had a radial fracture of my humerus (upper arm) that took about 8 months to get fully functioning and I went on to finish Royal Marines basic training. Since then its always had a curve to it and I've subliminally compensated eg. putting my hands in different places when doing press ups.
Recently I've been having slight shoulder and elbow grief which I put down to the arm and its always put me off doing certain exercises with it. I also notice it when doing daily tasks like opening doors etc. Basically I'm fed up as I know it shouldn't be like this, I worry about future problems in other joints and I'd like it straight again.
I'm off to the docs this week to chat about re-breaking it but wondered if anyone's has been through anything similar. I'm still in the RM so time off and physiotherapy isn't an issue.
