R8 spyder exhaust

Hi , had a v10 spyder 2010 and have seen a few 17 plate up for sale very low mileage with auidi dealers most don't have sports exhaust is it a must to have this ? . Dave

I would say no but it depends how important noise is to you. I'm perfectly happy with revving the nuts off my v8 - the noise is intoxicating. The v10 has a slightly different note and for me, the standard exhaust is fine.

However it is a common upgrade - expect to pay £2,500+ for an upgrade. Best bet is to drive it and see how you go. Plenty of videos on various exhausts on R8talk.com
