Somewhere a bit nice for a drink- Kensington ish

Hi Folks

Looking for a really nice place to stop for a drink between Victoria and Chiswick on the District Line, ideally cocktails etc. Hotel bar perhaps a good option, needs to be informal but not an average boozer. Oh and open in the afternoon.

I went to KRG's a few years back around Christmas time, 10PM ish. I thought it was an absolute hell hole.

Would second that. Have stayed a few times and drank in their bar - lovely. Very many of the staff are Irish.
