In the middle of chassis off project, have brought a bolt kit for chassis but there are other bolts and nuts I wish to replace at the same time and was going to order a range of nuts etc., so as rebuilding can replace according. Can anyone confirm if the car was built with metric or imperial nuts and bolts?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Pupp

You'll find a mix but the structural chassis stuff is imperial - worth searching here as there are some good lists of what's what

Generally chassis and engine are UNF/UNC and Ford sourced components brakes etc metric. Pete Griff published on here the suspension fixings as follows (make sure you get zinc plated HT bolts and NOT s/s). Here's the suspension list:

2. Rear N/S & O/S

Shock Absorbers bottom - 1/2" x 3 1/2" UNF 2 off
