If anyone is interested, here is one of my laps from SPA this year. Spitting a little, but no impact on time. I am crap at the timing of the telemetry against the video, but flat through Blanchimont 1 151MPH was epic.

As I noted elsewhere, it's a bloody amazing lap, well done that. Great to see actual verified timing for that sort of lap as well, I always knew the 12c was capable of sub 2:40s!

That looked a great lap - very smooth and accurate.

Yes, sorry I am the member of too many forums. I just thought I would share, if it is of any use to others looking to do the same.

Not meant as any kind of criticism from me at all, more that I was happy to reiterate how impressed I was with that lap of yours! thumbup

P.S i think it's safe to say very very few 12c (or indeed 675) owners will be able to get anywhere even close to that tbh even if they were looking to do so smile

Cheers, if someone was mad enough to lend me a 675 I reckon 2.34 would be it, maybe a cheeky high 33??

Very nice indeed.

How does the car handle repeated lapping at that kind of pace?

That was the 4th of 5 laps and the tyres were getting hot. Drop about 4 - 5 seconds a lap and they would be fine for a few more laps no doubt.

The actual brakes / car handling does not change at all, no long pedal, no fade, just the tyres are getting warmer and you can feel it starting to slide. Cool down and it returns 100%

Are you still running OEM brakes by the way?

OEM discs with Pagid RSL29 pads, nicer feel than the standard Mac ones. I didn't like the wooden feel when pressing and the poor modulation against the Pagid. Obvs the Pagid are a bit grippy in the last 1 - 2 MPH on the road, but a small price to pay.

Good man, thought you had to be on RS29s as the oem brake pads would never have lasted 5 laps at your pace!

That's a very nice and clean lap! No drama so to speak and looked fluid and spot on without any show boating. :-)

I didnt get any absolute times with timing equipment when I was there last, but doesn't look far off what I did in my GT3 Cup race car, really can't wait to get my Macca now, can't believe I've avoided them for so many years. Soz guys

Im a tad excited about this one to say the least, I don't get massively giddy about many cars, but this one has got me already!!
