New to the Wedge and rover v8. i can get my hands on a 3.9 - will my 3.5 inlet manifold fit? thanks

Yes I would have thought so, you might just need to bore them out a bit where it meets the block

Most bits are interchangeable so you will be ok, its mainly internal bits of the engines that are different.

If I was doing it all again I'd get an ex Range Rover 4.6 & change the cam to a nice sporty one. Run it on an Eldebrock 500 4 barrel carb.
That's an easy 250 bhp and over 300 fl/lbs of torque. driving
