My LHD 997 4S arrives in the UK early Oct and I would like to fit some fresh rubber on it.

Having not bought tyres in the UK for over 8 years, I'm a little behind in terms of who's who.

Any recommendations, ideally mobile fitters. Looking for Michelins PS2's, standard N rated.

Cheers

www.event-tyres.co.uk do mobile fitting and I've used them a couple of times in the last few years but equally if you find the best deal on Blackcircles then you can also select a mobile fitter service for them too.

I'm not sure where you are based but I recently went to the Pirelli Performance centre in Burton on Trent. Excellent facilities, great guys and right on price.

Whilst there I asked if they could fit N1 rather than N0 and once they checked the factory had stock, they popped round to the factory, picked them up and installed with Nitrogen in less than an hour....very impressed and I'll 100% go back there again.

Clearly if you want anything other than Pirelli then don't bother with these guys smile

I have PS4s on my 997, as I don't have a Porsche warranty

Blackcircles.com was the cheapest.

I generally find tyreleader.co.uk the cheapest. Tyres come from Germany, but typically arrive in 48hrs, and you can have them delivered to one of their approved fitters local to you.
