That's gonna be one hell of a nice Tam you've spec'd there , Interesting to note the Avic-X1 is now an option!
And an expensive option it is! I found a place online that also happens to have a London showroom that sells full UK spec (at least thats what they tell me!) car audio at really good pricing - Car Audio & Security

That's where I bought my Avic X1, DAB and reverse camera !!! The reverse camera is a Godsend, I'd consider that, as the Tam's big butt isn't the best to see out of when reversing!

Can you confirm they actually sell full UK spec and not grey import? Their prices are almost too good to be true!

How is the camera holding out to the heat chris? Also how did you run the cable?
The camera is fine
, it has even spent 3 weeks outside at the dealers in all weather, and it works great! The body of the camera is aluminium, and it's held in place by a bracket (which also allows the camera to be moved, by hand, up or down), which is screwed to the underside of the flat area at the bottom of the boot, just above the reg plate. I drilled a very small hole behind the bracket to take the wireing under the boot carpet and attached a grommet to seal the hole, although any water getting in there is next to zero! I earthed the one wire into an earth on one of the rear lights, and the main wire and connector is the only one which needed to go to the seperate hide away unit located in the passenger footwell, just under the dash. It only took a couple of hours to fit in place and get it working! and I'm crap with electrics (although I did ring Mongoose for advice quite a few times!!) Blackmonday, not sure if it's a grey import or not, but I did buy it from the same place I bought the satnav unit and DAB unit, and it certainly works very well, its even in colour! The best price I found was £179, not a penny cheaper anywhere else!
