Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres

I've got the Cup 2 tyres on my recently acquired Clubsport Edition 40. I must admit I was a little concerned about buying a car with semi-slicks as it's my daily driver (40 mile EW commute). But for now, in the dry, the grip is immense, although the ride is a little harsh.

Has anyone got any experience of using these tyres over the autumn / winter (anything to be concerned about)?

Or has anyone swapped them yet for alternative 235 35 19 tyres?

I don't have any experience of them on a Golf, but generally speaking you will need to be very cautious with standing water. Otherwise they are fine.
