Clutch

Have been told by dealer my clutch is on way out, discovered when they fitted new clutch master cylinder.
Car has done 29k miles is this about life for a 4.5l. Can any reputable garage do this for me, as no independants I know of around Liverpool. Thanks for any help.

I did not know that they could tell by changing a master cylinder, I thought the gear box would have to be off????

It can be done by whoever its fairly straight forward(except the gear change removal and refit that is).just finding a garage that doesnt run a mile
