350 2+2 - Once owned by Graham Anderton

Hi there,
I've just come back from seeing a red 350 FHC 2+2. It has a couple of interesting points and I wonder if anyone can shed light on its history.
Cantus owns the car and it is currently up for sale.
It has a little plate on it which reads 'specially made for Graham Anderton'. Is this somebody famous or did TVR put these plates on some cars?
Also, Cantus says that the (usually black-box type) ECU has been modified and has a dial on the outside with three settings (one of which says 'boost')! Anyone come across something like this before? Please excuse my ignorance but I am not very 'technically minded' (and don't have a great knowledge of famous people either come to that)!

Yes, I can shed some light on this. Graham and I were neighbours from 1991 to about 1997. He's no celeb though, a chemistry teacher at Rochester College! I remember the car very clearly and I'm sure he said he'd had the engine modified for more power. I often wonder what happened to it, as it started my interest in TVRs. Sounds interesting...
The car is in Holland at present and up for sale. Cantus says he can trailer it back to the UK for interested parties (as it is not running at present).
The first owner originally had the TVR manufactured to his specifications in 1985: air-conditioning, power breaking and steering, and burgundy red colour. A few months later he upgraded the engine incl: high-lift camshafts, higher compression ratio, over-revving limiter; getting the bhp to 230. It did 0-60 mph in 6 seconds.
It was the very first off a very short line – only six ever made – and they changed to a more rounded specification later. It proved fun to drive and packed quite a punch on the road, combined with not to bad consumption, considering its capacity.

The engine certainly sounds as if it has been nicely breathed on then. Should make a good impact on the streets of Alphen!
Any luck with the alarm?
Perhaps Octanebooster (who knew Graham) may be able to shed some light on it?

I have seen a nice example near Bristol (metallic blue) and Ralph Dodds has one (which was up for sale in Wales a few years ago I think). I have no idea where the others are though.
I like my own 280+2 but I've never owned a V8 (fantastic noise and pace) and so...
Mind you I've never owned a turbo either and they must be a lot of fun. There were probably quite a few turbo kits for the Cologne engine in the 80s. I wonder if there are still any around? Any ideas?
