Trading in modified car
Discussion
I've looking at potentially trading in my car - I can't be bothered with a private sale as the private market for its value (~£17k) is dead.
Since I've owned the car I've had it remapped and had the springs replaced with some Eibachs. Should I have the car returned to standard before trading it in?
Now the springs I'm not too fussed about - the ride height is almost identical and the ride's significantly better. Even my local dealer didn't notice they're not standard whilst sorting a brake issue as they're the same colour /markings as OEM.
It's just the remap and some VCDS coding (turning off the sound actuator) that I'm concerned about. It means a 120 mile round journey, but I feel I should take the time to get it returned to standard for the next potential owner.
What would you guys do?

Octavia?
Yep, it's one of the "230" limited models, essentially the Golf GTi PP in a fat suit ... so it has the LSD, did have 227bhp, now has 288. Ridiculously speccd up as well as it was an ex demo. Think it's got every extra bar a sunroof, keyless entry and the upgraded audio.Nice car, but I'm not bonding with it. I've discussed it a few times in the forums but each time I've looked to swap it's fallen through. Will probably happen again this time knowing my luck.
