The last of us, recent updates?

Haven't played it for six months, but today I was in there again and after strangling a baddie a sign/notice popped up on the screen saying something like "Bare hands, $100 reward".

I have a hundred or more hours in this game and never seen that before.

Also noticed a few other scenes in the game looked slightly different than I remember.
