£10K budget, Looking for advice for a 2nd car

hi i am looking it swap my current car for something a bit more fun without becoming completely ludicrous. i currently drive a 2013 mk7 golf tdi

My current thoughts are the Renault Megane Renaultsport 2010 but they seem to be hard to find close to me ( North east of Scotland) with decent mileage and in good condition.

If possible would like to keep below 10K and keep it a semi modern car, Im only 19 so a low displacement is desirable due to insurance reasons.

The 172 cup would be fun, but also fun to insure. Lack of ABS makes them a insurers worst nightmare.
