Finder's fee

What's the going rate for a finder's fee in the motor trade, e.g I find a car I'm not interested in and pass it onto a marque specialist type scenario.
Is there a variable for different prices?
Appreciate your advice.

Depends on what end of the market?

We pay our buyers around £100 a car that they get for us from auctions etc.

These are specialist vintage cars, one maybe mid teens, other probably 30k+
However for my own info I thought it would be good to know if there's a sliding scale so to speak?
One suggestion I heard was 10% of purchase price up to around 5k then variable.

In that case I don't think there's a set fee. I would assume it would depend on what you are selling it to them for.
