Advice on headlining material

Need to redo the headlining in my Alfa 75.
Old stuff is out, so is the board, going to rub all the old degraded foam off the backing board

Question is, the handle holds are in some deep recesses, so the material needs to be flexible when adhering. What's best to use ? Foam backed nylon, faux suede, perforated foam backed .????

Be sure to get ALL the old foam off the boards & use an adhesive designed to cope with high temperatures.
