Easiest and cheapest thing to do would be change the spark plugs, then the leads/coilpack(s), possibly MAF sensor if it has one... After that id be getting a specialist to investigate, might be fuelling etc...

That looks fantastic.

Could it be fuel related?

I work for Mitsubishi, have had a few come in with misfires and other related stuff. Pulled the fuel rail off to find the rail filled with rust as the tank has broken down inside.

It only seems to effect the side furthest from where the fuel feed is. Those last 2 injectors seem to gather all the crap.

Might be worth stripping off and checking inside there.
