Mineral, semi-synthetic or synthetic?

OK to use to top up the gearbox before winter stripdown?

I just use any old ATF.

Gearbox is different though depends what you have in there currently.

Being optimistic, I would like to pull the engine and 'box this Feb / March for some refurb work. So will follow the 'flush' procedure then and refill with diflock - having addressed some leaks.
