Samsung Galaxy S8 Active - Available to buy anywhere?

I've been wanting a new active since the s4 which was the last one they permitted to be sold here. Gave up and bought a caterpillar s60 which are good phones, mine looking respectably battered after nearly a year of abuse but holding up.

As I understand it AT&T commission the active phone especially for themselves, and samsung et all seem to think theres no other market for a phone that doesn't explode when you drop it. replacement screens a tasty little earner I guess...

You can get it via the Samsung US website and bypass AT&T. But check first that it works on UK 4G spectrum bands, as the US is on some different frequencies. Rumours are that it may be available in the UK around Nov / Dec.
