alternator 944

I am looking to refurbish my 1989 944 2.7Ltr alternator, can any one point me in the right direction to purchase brushes, bearings and is there a voltage regulator on these models.
I like in Devon is there anyone local? And any step by step directions .......

If you aren't used to stripping and overhauling them why not do an exchange? A tadge more cash but it will come with a guarantee and gets you back on the road asap.
